Thoughts….
I haven’t had a chance to sketch Nico at all today (it’s a work day, yo), but i had an image of her in my head, wearing a heavy jacket, the kind with a fur-lined hood, all wintry looking. So maybe she either lives somewhere with a cold winter, or spends enough time in that climate to own clothing suitable for it.
I was thinking about the revolver, too. I think it’s for protection. But is she running from something she needs protection from? Or running to something she needs to protect herself from? Or to something she needs to protect? I’m starting to think maybe it’s a combination of the above. Someone or something is looking for her, she doesn’t want to be found, or at least not until she finds whatever she’s looking for. She’s caught in the middle of two things, which might not even be related at all. Or maybe they are? We’ll see.
I think her favorite album is David Bowie’s Heroes.
